2026 review

Ryan Borucki was a reliever who did not miss bats and did not last the summer: a 4.94 ERA and 1.52 WHIP in 23.2 IP over 21 games for SFG, with 27 H and 13 ER allowed. His 14.4 K% and 8.7 BB% came over 104 BF, and that 14.4 K% was the 24th lowest of 517 pitchers with 100+ BF. His ERA also ran 0.88 above his 4.06 xERA over the same 104 BF. He signed with SFG as a free agent on Mar 21, pitched his last game May 30, was designated for assignment May 31 and released Jun 6, then signed a minor league contract with CLE on Aug 4. Undrafted in NFBC drafts, he finished 865th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, and 423rd of 575 relievers. The TDK LABS card had nothing on him in early May, and by early Jun it was describing a matchup lefty with no set role who had been cut loose.
