2026 review

Ryan Kreidler was a utility infielder who posted a .218 AVG and a .379 SLG in 243 AB, a .286 OBP, a 22.8 K% and a 7.9 BB% over 267 PA, with 8 HR, 29 RBI and 4 SB across 105 games and 67 starts for MIN. He was optioned Mar 23, recalled Apr 11, optioned again Apr 22 and recalled once more May 14. Undrafted in NFBC drafts, he finished 796th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 35th of 61 shortstops. Once recalled in mid-May the TDK LABS card had him back in a utility role; by late Aug it had him benched repeatedly and sliding further into that role amid a contact drought and diminishing playing time, and by early Sep it described him as a utility infielder benched multiple times in a short stretch of games. By late Sep the card had settled on him as a spot-play shortstop with steady underlying contact.
