Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 272, he finished 141st of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 131 spots above his ADP rank, and 14th of 79 right fielders. His .336 wOBA ran 22 points above his .314 xwOBA over 451 PA. Against right-handed pitchers he hit .287/.356/.480 over 312 PA, against left-handers .217/.271/.349 over 140 PA. The TDK LABS card had him compounding production with multiple RBI games by May 8, then by late Aug it had him past his IL eligibility date awaiting activation, and by Sep 26 it read him as a part-time performer with a platoon edge against right-handers, producing above his underlying contact, with strong exit velocities.
