2026 review

Ryan Vilade was a part-time outfield bat who hit lefties and struggled against righties: .245/.321/.429 with a 23.4 K% and a 9.4 BB% over 278 PA for TBR, with 11 HR and 3 SB. Against left-handed pitchers he hit .272/.341/.477 over 170 PA, against right-handers just .202/.290/.351 over 108 PA. He played from his first game Mar 26 through his last on Sep 27, with no transactions listed. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 675, taken in 4 of 674 drafts, he finished 486th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank and 28th of 79 right fielders. The TDK LABS card followed him closely: by early May it had him riding a hot bat, by mid-Aug it read him as cold despite solid underlying contact, briefly picked back up by late Aug, and by late Sep it still framed him as a platoon bat working through an extended cold stretch.
