2026 review

Sam Aldegheri worked as fringe rotation depth, posting a 5.08 ERA and 1.43 WHIP in 33.2 IP across 9 games with 6 starts for LAA, and a 14.6 K% and an 11.3 BB% over 151 BF; that 14.6 K% over 151 BF was the 27th lowest of 517 pitchers with 100+ BF. He shuttled between the majors and the minors with LAA from Mar 1 through Jul 5. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 505, he finished 822nd of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 519th of 811 pitchers and 124th of 236 starters. His 5.08 ERA ran 0.43 below his 5.51 xERA over 151 BF. The TDK LABS card followed the churn: in early May it had him drawing a start as sudden rotation coverage, by early Jun it read him as a churn arm cycling on the roster with no leverage role, by late Jun it had him fighting to hold his rotation spot as the results slipped, and by Jul it had him back as left-handed depth after a quality outing.
