2026 review

Sean Keys was a low-contact, high-strikeout first baseman this year, batting .197/.242/.328 with a 34.3 K% and a 4.5 BB% over 67 PA, with 2 HR and 9 RBI across 25 games for TOR. His contract was selected Jun 27, he was optioned Jul 23, and recalled Sep 1. Undrafted in NFBC drafts, he finished 1248th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank and 47th of 65 first basemen. Playing time came in bursts, 2 games for 8 PA in Jun, 10 games for 29 PA in Jul, and 13 games for 30 PA in Sep. The TDK LABS card tracked him from a Jul 1 call-up as Toronto depth at third base, to spot DH duty in mid-Jul while the primary outfielder was out, to a Sep return described as back with Toronto after a rough debut.
