2026 review

Shane Drohan was a back-of-the-rotation starter for MIL who bounced around before settling into the staff: across 33 games, 19 GS and 124.2 IP he posted a 4.19 ERA and 1.32 WHIP with a 23.7 K% and 8.3 BB% over 528 BF, adding 7 W, 5 L, 2 SV and 3 HLD. He was traded to MIL on Feb 9, then shuttled between the majors and the minors on Mar 22, Apr 6, Apr 9 and Apr 24. Taken in 78 of 674 drafts at ADP rank 978, he finished 770th of 1472 overall in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 478th of 811 pitchers and 118th of 236 starting pitchers. His 4.19 ERA ran 0.38 above his 3.81 xERA over 528 BF. Left-handed hitters managed .245/.278/.352 over 169 PA against him, right-handed hitters .260/.344/.438 over 359 PA. His best month was May, a 1.72 ERA in 15.2 IP, and his worst was Sep, a 7.53 ERA in 14.1 IP. The TDK LABS card followed that path: his first win in early May came in piggyback relief work, by mid Jun it had him as a short-leash option, by early Aug it said his results had softened while the underlying metrics still read better, and by late Sep it had him back as a starter working an abbreviated workload.
