Spencer Miles was a reliever who got outs without missing many bats: his 8.0 SwStr% over 1506 pitches was the 44th lowest of 517 pitchers with 100+ BF, but he still posted a 2.63 ERA and a 1.10 WHIP in 95.2 IP, with a 24.0 K% and a 6.4 BB% over 388 BF across 49 games and 8 GS for TOR. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 473 in just 1 of 674 drafts, he finished 214th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank and 32nd of 575 relief pitchers. His 2.63 ERA ran 0.43 below his 3.06 xERA over 388 BF. Against right-handed batters he held them to .190/.258/.202 over 178 PA, against left-handed batters .246/.284/.372 over 212 PA. He posted a 0.73 ERA in 12.1 IP in Sep and a 3.92 ERA in 20.2 IP in May. The TDK LABS card called him a volatile arm on a short leash in mid Jul; by early Sep it had him picking up a mop-up save with the bullpen usage muddled, and by late Sep it had him working as a multi-inning arm in a bullpen hierarchy it still called unsettled.
