2026 review

Sterlin Thompson held down a part-time Coors bat, and it stayed streaky all year: in 27 games with 19 starts he hit .232/.312/.377 with a 27.3 K% and a 6.5 BB% over 77 PA, adding 2 HR and 10 RBI. COL optioned him Mar 8, recalled him May 15, optioned him back May 19, recalled him again May 22, then optioned him for good Jun 22. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 883, he finished 1242nd of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank and 33rd of 46 DH. The TDK LABS card followed the role closely: a short-runway Coors bat in mid-May, then by Jun it noted the walk-off heroics and a multi-homer night even as the starts kept shrinking, reading the role itself as the ceiling once the outfield got healthy.
