2026 review

Tommy Troy was a low-contact, patient left fielder whose season got swallowed by injury: he hit .217/.289/.349 with a 23.8 K% and a 9.1 BB% over 143 PA for ARI, with 4 HR and 9 RBI over 45 games. ARI selected his contract May 23, and he played into Jul before a sprained right AC joint sent him to the 10-day IL Jul 15 (retroactive to Jul 12); he took a rehab assignment Aug 25, was activated Sep 4, and was optioned Sep 15, missing 54 regular-season days in the stint. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 952, he finished 1144th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank and 53rd of 93 left fielders. His .285 wOBA ran 19 points below his .304 xwOBA over 143 PA. The TDK LABS card followed him from a contract selection in late May, to a low-K, patient profile still working back from the AC joint injury in mid Aug, to a reserve outfield role by mid Sep.
