2026 review

Trevor Larnach was Minnesota's regular left fielder, hitting .269/.352/.436 with an 18.2 K% and a 10.4 BB% over 433 PA for MIN across 122 games and 104 starts, adding 23 2B, 13 HR, 57 R and 48 RBI. He was placed on the 10-day IL Sep 18, retroactive to Sep 15, with a left wrist sprain, missing 12 regular-season days to close out the year. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 410 and taken in most drafts, he finished 245th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 165 spots above his ADP rank, and 23rd of 93 left fielders. His .347 wOBA ran 20 points above his .327 xwOBA over 433 PA, and he hit .342 over 76 AB in Jun against just .194 over 72 AB in Aug. The TDK LABS card tracked the swing in his standing: in early May it had the streamer-tier chatter on him cooling as another outfielder drew more attention, by mid-Aug it had him fading after a strong summer with platoon scheduling cutting into his at-bats, and by late Aug it had him freshly benched after a rough stretch.
