2026 review

Trevor Williams worked almost exclusively out of the bullpen, making 1 start in 15 games with a 3.14 ERA and 1.19 WHIP in 28.2 IP, a 28.3 K% and an 8.3 BB% over 120 BF for WSN and TEX. He was placed on the 60-day IL on Feb 10, took rehab assignments across late Jun and Jul, and was activated Jul 29; work came in Jul, Aug, and Sep, then WSN designated him for assignment Aug 25 and released him Aug 30 before TEX signed him Sep 1 — 126 regular-season days missed in that stint. Taken in just 1 of 674 drafts at ADP rank 514, he finished 446th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank and 133rd of 575 relievers. His 3.14 ERA ran 0.70 below his 3.84 xERA over 120 BF. The TDK LABS card had him back from the IL in a long-relief role in late Jul; by mid Sep it had him a recent signing reduced to opener duty, and by late Sep it had him in a bulk-relief role with the opener absorbing the innings.
