2026 review

Tristan Gray was a bottom-of-the-order infielder for MIN who hit .225/.267/.324 with a 31.9 K% and a 5.3 BB% over 188 PA across 66 games and 52 starts, with 4 HR and 29 RBI. He was traded from his prior club to MIN on Jan 21, went on the paternity list May 22 and was activated May 25, then was optioned Jul 20, recalled Jul 29, and optioned again Aug 7. A rare pick taken in 2 of 674 drafts at NFBC ADP rank 623, he finished 1055th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank and 363rd of 660 hitters, 44th of 61 shortstops. The TDK LABS card had him in early May as depth-fill getting starts only when others took routine days off, then by Jul 2 called him a platoon infielder losing starts, and by Aug 7 noted he had been recalled over a week before.
