2026 review

Ty France was a first baseman who hit for both average and pop, but his results ran well ahead of the quality of his contact: .295/.363/.502 with a 21.6 K% and a 7.4 BB% over 500 PA for SDP, with 21 HR, 59 R and 72 RBI across 133 games. He signed a minor league contract Feb 15, had his contract selected Mar 25, and later went on the paternity list Sep 11 before being activated Sep 14. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 1250, he finished 103rd of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, and 14th of 65 first basemen. His .373 wOBA ran 46 points above his .327 xwOBA over 500 PA. His best month was Jul at .326 over 89 AB and his worst was Jun at .239 over 67 AB. The TDK LABS card in late Jun had him riding elite contact discipline and a hot bat, but by late Sep it had shifted to an elite wRC+ paired with a second-half fade.
