2026 review

Victor Bericoto hit .241/.267/.420 with a 27.6 K% and a 3.4 BB% over 116 PA for SFG across 41 games, adding 5 HR, 9 R and 15 RBI. His contract was selected May 22, and he missed time in 2 stints after that: a left oblique strain sent him to the 10-day IL Jul 10, he took a rehab assignment Aug 4, and was activated Aug 11, then a right knee bone bruise put him back on the 10-day IL Aug 24, he took another rehab assignment Sep 9, and was activated Sep 18, missing 57 regular-season days across 2 stints. Undrafted in NFBC drafts, he finished 1147th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, and 54th of 93 left fielders. The TDK LABS card had him as a bench outfield option up from the minors in late May, back from the oblique strain but with more time out possibly ahead by mid-Aug, and by late Sep, after the knee injury, showing efficient contact and power in a role it described as stabilized.
