Vinnie Pasquantino was a first baseman whose season kept getting interrupted: he hit .249/.333/.428 with 17 HR, 63 RBI, a 15.8 K% and 10.6 BB% over 481 PA for KCR. A right hamate fracture put him on the 10-day IL on Jun 14, he took a rehab assignment Jul 7 and was activated Jul 10, then right wrist soreness sent him back down Jul 29 before a rehab assignment Aug 11 and activation Aug 17, missing 45 regular-season days across 2 stints. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 82, he finished 196th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 114 spots below, and 22nd of 65 first basemen. He hit .224 over 254 AB before his longest IL stint and .287 over 167 AB after it, and against right-handers he was .266/.355/.468 over 349 PA against just .205/.269/.320 over 134 PA against lefties. His best month was Sep at .262 over 84 AB against .167 over 90 AB in Apr.
