Walker Jenkins was a rookie outfielder who hit .226/.293/.393 with a 20.4 K% and a 7.5 BB% over 93 PA, adding 4 HR, 14 R and 10 RBI in 26 games for MIN. His contract was selected Aug 28 and he played from Aug 28 through Sep 27, with 14 PA in Aug and 79 PA in Sep. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 1041, he finished 1162nd of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 121 spots below, and 48th of 70 center fielders. The TDK LABS card opened with his debut praised for strong minor-league numbers and a hot finish to August, then by mid-Sep it had him in a clear everyday role while noting his contact rate reading low as the young bat adjusted, and by late Sep it had him batting ninth in a platoon with expected metrics sitting slightly above actual.
