Will DionCLE · WSN · RP
2026 review
Will Dion was swingman depth who settled into meaningful bullpen innings: a 3.62 ERA and 1.19 WHIP in 49.2 IP across 27 games with 1 start for CLE and WSN, with 55 SO and 17 BB, a 27.4 K% and an 8.5 BB% over 201 BF, and 3 W, 2 L, 1 SV, 1 HLD and 2 BS. CLE selected his contract May 26, optioned him Jun 19, recalled him Jul 18, optioned him again Jul 24, recalled him Jul 25, then optioned him Aug 2 before he moved from CLE to WSN. Undrafted in NFBC drafts, he finished 424th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 187th of 811 pitchers, and 123rd of 575 relief pitchers. The TDK LABS card read him in late May as long relief depth rather than a leverage arm, still had him in the minors system after the Nationals trade in early Aug, and by late Sep noted he was resting after picking up his first save of the year amid shifting bullpen roles.
