2026 review
Will Warren logged a full season in the Yankees rotation, an arm whose results ran ahead of his contact quality some months and behind it others: 29 starts in 32 games, an 11-6 record with a 3.92 ERA and 1.37 WHIP in 156.0 IP. He struck out batters at a 23.3 K% and walked them at an 8.0 BB% over 677 BF. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 304, he finished 718th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 414 spots below, and 432nd of 811 pitchers, 107th of 236 starters. His 3.92 ERA ran 0.43 below his 4.35 xERA over 677 BF. He turned in his best month in Sep at a 2.05 ERA in 22.0 IP after his worst in Jun at a 5.49 ERA in 19.2 IP. The TDK LABS card moved with him: in early May it had him as a steady piece at the top of the rotation, by early Sep it had him back in the rotation after a stretch of relief work with his recent starts drawing strong marks, and by late Sep it had him reading as volatile between starts and bulk relief innings but sharp in his most recent outings.
