Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 217, he finished 160th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 57 spots above, and 17th of 61 shortstops. His .306 wOBA ran 19 points below his .325 xwOBA over 606 PA, and his year swung hard by month, a .167 mark in 84 AB in Jul against .315 in 73 AB in Sep. The TDK LABS card tracked that swing: quiet on the bat in early May with little recent contact to point to, a day-to-day foot issue in early Aug, then by mid-Sep a read on him as a cold-stretch veteran with metrics suggesting more than he'd shown, and by late Sep a hot September carrying a year that had otherwise lagged.
