2026 review

Yohendrick Piñango spent the year as a part-time outfielder who shuttled between TOR and the minors, hitting .260 and slugging .396 in 169 AB, with an OBP of .306, a 24.4 K% and a 6.1 BB% over 180 PA, and 8 2B, 5 HR, 20 RBI and 12 R across 58 games and 46 starts. He was selected Apr 25, then optioned and recalled repeatedly on May 9, May 11, Jun 22, Jun 27, Jul 7, Jul 22, and Jul 31. Undrafted in NFBC drafts, he finished 1087th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 376th of 660 hitters, and 48th of 93 left fielders. In early May the TDK LABS card pointed to a multi-hit game and a first career extra-base hit while batting leadoff against a right-hander, and by mid-May it tied another recall to a strong run of at-bats, with the leadoff looks as the signal. By late Jun the card had him back up on the roster as a replacement, and by Jul 29 it described him in a platoon role against right-handed pitching with a favorable schedule.
