2026 review
Zach Neto was an everyday shortstop who piled up counting stats while missing a lot of pitches: he hit .239/.330/.436 with a 30.5 K% and a 9.9 BB% over 704 PA for LAA, adding 27 HR, 24 SB and 102 R across 157 games with 156 starts. The swing-and-miss was the one thing that stood out on the wrong end, as his 30.5 K% over 704 PA was the 20th highest of 267 hitters with 300+ PA, but he never came off the field, taking at least 101 PA in every month from Apr through Sep. Drafted at NFBC ADP rank 31, he finished 34th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank, 3 spots below, and 5th of 61 shortstops. His .336 wOBA ran 19 points above his .317 xwOBA over 704 PA. The TDK LABS card tracked him through a series of cold spells: in early May it had him breaking out of one, by late Jul it had him slumping again, and by late Sep it still had him as a high-volume everyday producer.
