Zak KentMIN · WSN · RP

2026 review

Zak Kent was a well-traveled reliever who posted a 5.51 ERA and 1.65 WHIP in 16.1 IP across 11 games between MIN and WSN, with a 15.6 K% and 10.4 BB% over 77 BF. He was designated for assignment and claimed off waivers repeatedly between STL, TEX and MIN from Jan 6 through Feb 26, then shuttled between the majors and the minors with WSN and MIN on Apr 5, Apr 28, May 3, May 6, May 15, Jun 26, Jul 5, Sep 8 and Sep 9. Undrafted in NFBC drafts, he finished 896th of 1472 in the TDK LABS 5x5 value rank and 442nd of 575 relief pitchers. The TDK LABS card tracked him as org depth throughout: by early May it had him cycling through organizations again as a fresh bullpen arm, by early Jul it had him as a back-end body with no clear role, and by early Sep it had him cycled in for one brief outing before heading back out.
